Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally party doubled its seats in the French parliament despite coming in third, and said its "victory is only postponed" because of an "unnatural alliance" against it.
The leader of the far-right National Rally party, Marine Le Pen, said she was not disappointed with the results of the parliamentary elections in France, in which her political force took only third place, although it was predicted to win. This was reported by Politico, according to UNN.

"I have too much experience to be disappointed with the result when we double the number of our deputies. The wave continues to grow. Our victory is only postponed," Le Pen said, explaining that the number of National Rally representatives in the new parliament will increase.
She attributed her defeat to "an unnatural alliance between Macron and the far left," who joined forces to put up predetermined candidates in the constituencies who had the best chance of winning over the National Rally representatives.
