"I have too much experience to be disappointed with the result when we double the number of our deputies. The wave continues to grow. Our victory is only postponed," Le Pen said, explaining that the number of National Rally representatives in the new parliament will increase.
She attributed her defeat to "an unnatural alliance between Macron and the far left," who joined forces to put up predetermined candidates in the constituencies who had the best chance of winning over the National Rally representatives.
