According to Tkachenko, the first explosions in the capital were heard after 01:00. He announced a "massive ballistic attack" and warned of possible repeated launches. Subsequently, information emerged regarding the consequences of the shelling in the Shevchenkivskyi, Podilskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, missile debris fell on a 24-story residential building; windows of several buildings were also damaged, and a fire broke out on a gas pipe between residential buildings. Additionally, remnants of an aerial target fell on the grounds of a school. In the Podilskyi district, debris damaged non-residential structures and caused a fire in a non-residential building.

Casualties reported in the capital

As of 02:00, at least three casualties were known. One of them was hospitalized, while medics provided assistance to two others on-site. There were also reports of damage to a private residential house in the Solomianskyi district and debris falling onto the roof of a high-rise building in the Darnytskyi district.

In the Holosiivskyi district, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, drone debris was burning in an open area near a service station. Authorities urged residents not to leave shelters due to the threat of new strikes and the continuation of the drone attack.
