After yesterday's russian missile attack on Ukraine, in particular on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, he held an important meeting in Washington with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. I expressed gratitude to the United States for its leading role in mobilizing the international community and providing military support to Ukraine. We coordinated the following steps in the context of strengthening Ukraine's capabilities, in particular in the field of air defense
The minister also thanked Secretary Blinken for supporting Ukraine's request for prompt assistance to reopen Okhmatdyt, including new medical equipment. The parties discussed in detail the final decisions to be made at the NATO Summit in Washington.
