12 people, including 4 children aged 8-13, died as a result of the collapse of a residential building as a result of a missile strike in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, and the search for one missing girl continues.

An emergency rescue operation continues in Kyiv after a missile strike that led to the collapse of a residential building in the Shevchenko district. The head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv, Dmytro Shumeiko, told the details of the tragedy on the air of "We-Ukraine", UNN reports.

According to him, rescuers have already removed the bodies of 12 people from the rubble.

"Among the dead are four children aged 8 to 13. Rescue operations have been completed at the remaining facilities where debris or rockets hit," Shumeiko added.

Search operations continue as rescuers are still looking for one girl who may be under the rubble.
