Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Ihor Klymenko held a meeting with the leadership of parliament and the Ministry of Defense on cooperation in the security sector. The funding of the military and the development of the defense industry were identified as priorities.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko took part in a working meeting with Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Acting Minister of Defense Yevhenii Khmara, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Skybiuk. During the meeting, the participants discussed further cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada, relevant committees, and members of parliament to improve legislation in the field of security and defense.
An unconditional priority is financing the Defense Forces and developing the capabilities of the defense industry. We must simultaneously strengthen the protection of Ukrainian skies and develop capabilities for effectively striking the enemy. We are working together so that all necessary decisions are adopted swiftly and the state has sufficient forces and resources to defend the country
