North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has used a Russian Aurus Senat limousine, a gift from Putin, for the first time, signaling a growing friendship between the two countries.

Following Kim Jong-un's meeting with Putin last September, their first summit in four years, relations between Pyongyang and Moscow are said to have strengthened. Putin invited Kim to test drive the Aurus Senat limousine, which arrived in Pyongyang in February.
On Friday, Kim used the car for the first time, which was confirmed by his sister and prominent government official Kim Yo Jong, the newspaper writes.
Kim Yo-jong, a spokesperson for KCNA (Korean Central News Agency), noted that the trip was "a clear indication of the friendship between the DPRK and Russia, which is now developing at a new, high level.
Kim Jong-un owns a collection of luxury cars from abroad that were illegally imported into the country. During his visit to Russia, he traveled between meeting places in a Maybach limousine, which he brought with him on his special train.
