In the capital's Hydropark, two foreigners died while relaxing on the Dnipro — they jumped from a pier and did not resurface, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv police.

According to law enforcement officers, the incident took place last weekend at one of the beaches in the Dnipro district of the capital.
The police received a report that while swimming in the Dnipro River, two men jumped from a pier and did not resurface. Subsequently, rescuers found the bodies of the two deceased — they turned out to be citizens of another country, aged 20 and 25.
Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Dnipro Police Division has initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — intentional homicide with an additional note "Accident". The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
