It is impossible to ignore hundreds of "Shaheds" every night: Zelenskyy says that a strong reaction from America and Europe is needed

Russia is hitting not only Ukrainians, but also all international efforts - diplomacy, which we are trying to end this war with. Russia is attacking the positions of everyone who wants an end to the war, and a strong reaction from America and Europe is needed. This was emphasized by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening video address, reports UNN.

The President noted that there were a total of 172 strike drones last night, more than a hundred of which were "Shaheds". In fact, there are such large-scale drone strikes almost every day now. There are also missile threats, ballistics.

The partners must understand that these are Russian strikes not only against our people, but also against all international efforts - against the diplomacy with which we are trying to end this war. Russia is attacking the positions of everyone who wants an end to the war. It is impossible to ignore hundreds of "Shaheds" every night. We expect a reaction, a serious reaction. We are working on a reaction. A strong reaction is very necessary - first of all, from America, Europe, everyone in the world who has bet on diplomacy. Russia must be forced to peace. And only coercion will work 

The Head of State noted that "America's proposal for an unconditional ceasefire has been on the table for too long - without an adequate response from Russia.

This says a lot. There could have been a ceasefire already if there had been real pressure on Russia. I want to thank those partners who understand this and who are promoting the necessary solutions. In particular, these are new sanctions decisions

During his video address, Zelenskyy also thanked the SES of Ukraine, all the communal services involved after the Russian shelling, the National Police of Ukraine, and medical workers - thousands of people on duty every day and night, protecting lives.

Today, in Dnipro alone, almost 250 of our people were involved in eliminating the consequences of the Russian drone strike - all the necessary services. The same goes for the city of Kryvyi Rih, other cities and communities that are being attacked. The SES is working everywhere, all emergency and special services are working, and assistance is being provided everywhere. I am grateful to everyone who saves lives and supports our people - this is extremely important

On the night of March 29, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 172 drones. Air defense forces shot down 94 "Shaheds", but there were hits in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, and there are victims.
