Intelligence warned of Russia preparing a new massive strike. Zelenskyy discussed strengthening air defense and new anti-Russian sanctions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that amid intelligence reports regarding Russia's preparations for a new massive strike, it is crucial for all partners to know what is happening and that Russia continues to rely on missiles and further warfare rather than diplomatic steps; relevant tasks were discussed with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, UNN reports.
We have information from intelligence services about Russia's preparations for a new massive strike. It is important that all our partners know what is happening and that Russia continues to rely on missiles and further war, not diplomatic steps. Above all, this means that additional measures of sanctions pressure on Russia are needed and that our agreements with partners regarding air defense cannot be delayed in implementation,
According to him, "we discussed relevant tasks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha: what must be done in these weeks and which steps by partners can support our defense most effectively."
"Anti-ballistic defense is the key task. We are also preparing our detailed proposals for a new European sanctions package and additional measures against the circumvention of existing sanctions. I thank everyone who helps protect lives!" the President emphasized.
