UAH 2.3 billion allocated in Ukraine to support frontline communities

The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 2.3 billion to support 179 frontline communities to pay the salaries of educators, medical workers, and social workers. Also more than UAH 36 million was allocated to Zaporizhzhia Oblast for salaries.
The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 2.3 billion to support frontline communities. The funds will be directed toward supporting people who work in extremely difficult conditions—educators, medical workers, and social workers. Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi said this, UNN reports.
Today, we held another government meeting. Another set of practical decisions. An important area is support for frontline regions. The government is providing additional funding of UAH 2.3 billion for local budgets. We distributed subsidies among regional budgets, but most importantly, among the budgets of 179 territorial communities in all frontline regions. This is concrete support for people who are working in extremely difficult conditions today—educators, medical workers, social workers, and others
He added that the government is also directing more than UAH 36 million to Zaporizhzhia region to pay the salaries of employees working in areas of active hostilities.

The Cabinet of Ministers is allocating UAH 419 million for Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. The funds will be used to pay the employees of regional and district military administrations.
