Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky ordered an immediate inspection of all civil protection shelters. The inspections concern proper maintenance and unimpeded access for citizens.

In Ukraine, all civil defense shelters will be urgently inspected for their proper maintenance and unimpeded access for citizens. All responsible officials have received corresponding instructions. This was reported by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky, reports UNN.
Relevant ministries, services, together with regional military administrations, including the Kyiv City Military Administration and local self-government bodies in their areas of responsibility, will urgently inspect all civil defense shelters for their proper maintenance and unimpeded access for citizens. All – without exception. All responsible officials have received corresponding instructions.
The Prime Minister emphasized that access to shelters should be available even when it is already known that there is danger, but the alarm has not yet been announced. In conditions of a constant ballistic threat, regional authorities and city administrations must act more promptly and based on the real need to protect people.
In the fifth year of a full-scale war, there cannot be any problem with access to shelters in Ukrainian cities at all. This is unacceptable. People must always have the opportunity to get to shelters in advance and without hindrance, especially when there is a ballistic threat. And this is the personal responsibility of every official.
