A lasting ceasefire in the Middle East will help avoid a crisis with support for Ukraine. The President believes US forces are sufficient to stop both wars.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that if the ceasefire in the Middle East is long-lasting, there will be no crisis in providing support to Ukraine. Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Rai Radio, as reported by UNN.
If the ceasefire in the Middle East is long-lasting, there will be no crisis in providing support to Ukraine. Of course, we hope for this. And we also very much want the end of Russia's war against Ukraine. At least to take the first step – a ceasefire. I always said that this is where we should start. But we were told and given signals that no, you can only finally end the war – a ceasefire does not achieve anything. And I believe it does.
He noted that the example of the Middle East eloquently demonstrates that a ceasefire is possible.
America has enough strength for this. If they ensured a ceasefire in the Middle East, then they have enough strength to ensure a ceasefire in Russia's war against Ukraine. Especially since Ukraine supports this.
