During the large-scale ORION 2026 exercises in France, the Finnish company ICEYE integrated its ISR Cell mobile reconnaissance center into a French Army infantry brigade. This was reported by Defense Express, according to UNN.

During the exercises, the military received satellite imagery in near real-time, along with analysis and the operational transmission of target coordinates for strikes.
The publication notes that this refers to a containerized mobile point that provides direct access to space intelligence and allows for the reduction of the intelligence collection and processing cycle "from hours to minutes."

Defense Express recalls that Ukraine has been cooperating with ICEYE since 2022. At that time, as part of the "People's Bayraktar" fundraising campaign, funds were directed toward the purchase of one of the company's satellites and access to other satellite resources.

The image resolution can reach one meter per pixel, allowing for the detection of equipment positions and other military targets.
During the demonstration of the ISR Cell at the ORION 2026 exercises, images of the Russian Northern Fleet base in Severomorsk were also spotted on the command post screens. At the same time, it is unknown whether this was a real surveillance target or merely an illustrative image.
