The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated over 240 million hryvnias to more than 12,000 workers involved in emergency restoration efforts following Russian attacks. This refers to energy workers, utility workers, and railway workers, who will receive a 20,000 hryvnia bonus. This was announced by First Vice Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, as reported by UNN.

"More than 12,000 workers involved in emergency restoration efforts after Russian attacks will receive bonuses of 20,000 hryvnias for March. Today, the government allocated 242 million hryvnias for this purpose," Svyrydenko reported.

According to her, this includes 9,000 energy workers, as well as nearly 2,000 gas utility workers and over a thousand railway workers who are restoring damaged infrastructure and returning communities to normal operation.

"The enterprises will transfer the funds directly to the workers' accounts. In total, during the winter-spring period, nearly 40,000 specialists received such bonuses. These payments have become an important tool for supporting people who worked under the most difficult conditions this heating season to ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure," the Minister added.
