Russian troops fired 64 times at the positions of Ukrainian defenders on March 23, more than a third of the attacks took place in the Novopavlivka direction, according to an evening report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 64 times on Saturday, March 23. More than a third of all enemy assaults took place in the Novopavlivka direction. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Over the last day, 64 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 6 missile and 70 air strikes, fired 72 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

In the Liman sector, our defenders repelled six enemy attacks near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka and Vesele in Donetsk region. Here, the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders withstood 11 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Klishchiyivka, Bohdanivka and Ivanivske in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our soldiers repelled the enemy 9 times. It is noted that the occupiers once again tested the strength of the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Berdychiv, Tonenky and Pervomaisk in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka and Urozhayne. The enemy attacked here 27 times with the support of aviation.
In the Orikhiv sector, the Russians made three unsuccessful assaults. With the support of aviation, they attacked the positions of our defenders near Robotyno in Zaporizhzhia.
In the Kherson sector, Russian proxies conducted one unsuccessful attack near Krynky in the Kherson region over the last day.
