A judge of the Brovary City District Court was served a notice of suspicion for forging documents for a cruise to the Caribbean during martial law.

A judge of the Brovary City District Court was served with a notice of suspicion of forgery in order to go on a cruise to the Caribbean. UNN reports this with reference to the State Bureau of Investigation.

As UNN has learned from its own sources, it is about judge Volodymyr Serdyński.

SBI officers, in cooperation with the SBU, served a notice of suspicion to a judge of the Brovary City District Court who traveled abroad on vacation using forged documents. The suspicion was also served to the lawyer who helped him to make the forged documents. It was established that the judge went on vacation on a cruise ship to the Caribbean during martial law

The SBI reports that for this purpose, the judge, in collusion with a lawyer he knew, forged an invitation to allegedly participate in a conference in Vienna on assistance to migrants, families with children and orphans from Ukraine in the EU. On the basis of this forgery, the judge issued him a business trip abroad.

The SBU recalled that in September 2023, the same judge was exposed for taking a bribe for making the "right" decision in a property dispute.

He demanded USD 4 thousand bribe for "correct resolution of the issue" during the court hearing.
