Ferrexpo suspends production in Ukraine due to the blockade of ports

The metallurgical company Ferrexpo has suspended its operations in Ukraine due to the blockade of ports by Russia. This was reported by UNN, citing the company's press service.

The constant threat of Russian attacks in and near Ukrainian ports has significantly restricted the Group's export logistics routes through the Black Sea. As a result, and in order to preserve the state of its working capital, the company decided to temporarily suspend the production of iron ore products at its mining and pelletizing operations in Ukraine. The resumption of production depends, among other things, on the receipt of additional working capital
