The lawyer of Vyacheslav Zinchenko, suspected of murdering Irina Farion, forbade him to comment on the case. The court remanded Zinchenko in custody, rejecting the defense's request for house arrest.

The lawyer of Vyacheslav Zinchenko, who is suspected of murdering linguist and professor of Lviv Polytechnic Irina Farion, Ihor Sulima, forbade his client to comment on the case. According to him, this can be used against him. Sulima stated in a conversation with journalists, reports UNN.

We came to the conclusion that now the communication of my client is not relevant. We would like to understand what evidence the prosecution has, because any comments or something else can be used against him. I forbade him to comment on the investigation

Addition

The Lviv Court of Appeal remanded in custody a suspect in the murder of linguist and professor of Lviv Polytechnic Irina Farion - Vyacheslav Zinchenko. The defense asked for Round-the-clock house arrest.

On July 19, it was reported that an unknown person shot at Iryna Farion, a linguist and professor of Lviv Polytechnic. A woman with a head wound in extremely serious condition was taken to the hospital. Irina Farion died in the hospital.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that on July 25, an 18-year-old man was detained in the city of Dnipro  , who is probably involved in the premeditated murder of Irina Farion.

According to Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko, law enforcement officers have enough evidence to claim that it was the 18-year-old boy who was detained in Dnipro who shot at linguist Irina Farion. According to him, the investigation lasted 139 hours.

Law enforcement officers are checkingt he suspect in the murder of Irina Farion for involvement in a neo-Nazi movement centered in Russia.

The Galitsky District Court of Lviv sent Vyacheslav Zinchenko, who is suspected of murdering linguist and professor of Lviv Polytechnic Irina Farion, into custody without the possibility of bail until September 22.
