Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that fake photos of her are circulating online, being presented as real and used for discredit. She reported this on the social network "X", according to UNN.

"I must admit that whoever created them, at least in this case, also significantly improved my appearance. But the fact remains: nowadays, absolutely anything is used just to attack and invent lies,"
She also added that deepfakes are a dangerous tool because they can deceive, manipulate, and affect anyone.
"That is why the rule must always apply: verify before believing, and believe before sharing. Because today it happens to me, and tomorrow it could happen to anyone,"
