Details
According to Zelenskyy, military medicine should always be in the focus of the state's attention. The main tasks include building a medical system that meets the challenges of today. It is about creating a single medical space where every specialist knows and fulfills his or her role.
In particular, it is about efficient use of resources, supplying first aid kits and turnstiles of appropriate quality, supplying mobile hospitals, being more attentive to the wounded, to those who have returned from the Russian hell. We are talking about the mechanisms of reintegration of soldiers released from captivity. We need to create a reintegration center and ensure the recovery of servicemen. Everything that can be digitized should be digitized. The Ministry of Defense, together with the General Staff, should deploy a medical information system in military units by the end of the year to make the route of the wounded transparent and clear. This is what every military medic and every soldier expects
The President added that an effective rehabilitation system should be implemented, including the mental recovery of the military together with their families.
Separately, the head of state said that he had signed a decree on military service, which regulates the service of persons with medical education and the assignment of the primary officer rank to doctors who have not passed the military department and instructed the government to fully fund the creation of a modern rehabilitation hospital with a module for the reintegration of military personnel released from captivity and stabilization centers for the uninterrupted provision of medical care in the combat zone.
Every commander must remember that people are an inexhaustible material, their strength, their knowledge, their skills are an important value for the state. Our independence is firmly based on our people. And with this understanding, we must create an appropriate rehabilitation system, with the highest level of training and rehabilitation centers. This is our task, this is our goal, this is our way
