Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and director Matthew Vaughn have teamed up to create the film studio UR•Marv. They have already financed and produced two action films.

The new independent studio has ambitions to be at the forefront of the revolution in film production, "using innovative technologies with respect for traditions." The partnership has already yielded its first results. The partners' portfolio includes two completed action films that Vaughn and Ronaldo co-financed and produced through UR•Marv, and a third in the works. They are all part of the same series.
