Court extends Tymoshenko's procedural obligations but returns foreign passport

HACC has extended Yulia Tymoshenko's obligations in the bribery case. The MP's foreign passport was returned, and she was granted permission to travel outside of Kyiv.

The HACC has extended the procedural obligations of Member of Parliament Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of offering an improper advantage to MPs, but returned her foreign passport. This was reported by the HACC press service, according to UNN.
On Thursday, May 7, the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion of the SAPO prosecutor and extended the term of procedural obligations for the Member of Parliament of Ukraine, head of a parliamentary faction, until July 7, 2026, but within the term of the pre-trial investigation
It is noted that Tymoshenko must:
- appear upon every request of the NABU detective, SAPO prosecutor, and/or the court;
- notify the NABU detective or SAPO prosecutor of any change in her place of residence and/or place of work.
The ruling is not subject to appeal.
The "Batkivshchyna" faction added that Tymoshenko's foreign passport was returned and she was allowed to travel outside of Kyiv.
As a reminder
NABU and SAPO notified the head of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada of suspicion on January 14.
Following this, the HACC set a preventive measure for the leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party, Yulia Tymoshenko, in the form of bail amounting to UAH 33.28 million. Tymoshenko stated that she was assisted in posting the UAH 33 million bail.
SAPO and NABU completed the investigation in the case involving the head of the parliamentary faction.
The HACC set a deadline for the defense to review the materials of the pre-trial investigation until May 24 in the case against Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of offering an improper advantage to Members of Parliament.
