Patrol officers helped a 70-year-old widower from Donetsk region fix his car. It is currently known that the man has already settled in a house in Kirovohrad region.
In the capital, patrol police officers helped a 70-year-old man who, due to the war, was forced to live in his own car after losing his wife. This was reported by UNN with reference to the TikTok account Diary of a Kyivan and the National Police of Ukraine.
What you see here is a whole life packed into one car. It belongs to a displaced person from Donbas who got stuck in the center of Kyiv, becoming an unusual sight for locals, almost like a scene from an Emir Kusturica film. Inside are 18 chickens in cages, a dog, and the owner himself. He is from Donetsk Oblast and lost his wife.
The author notes that the man, after living for four years in Chernihiv Oblast, decided to seek a new life in Uman.
On the way, his old car broke down, and he ended up in the city center. Fortunately, people helped him, and the police towed the car to a service station.
The National Police of Ukraine reported that law enforcement officers Alina Yatsyuk, Ivan Havrylenko, Artur Chaika, and Oleh Zaderei spoke with the man, supported him, calmed him down, and helped him.
Together, they towed the car to a car service so that the man could repair the car and move on.
In the comments under the video, the author noted that the man had already moved into a house in Kirovohrad Oblast.
The founder and owner of Monobank, Oleh Horokhovskyi, stated that if the man's contact was found, he would give him a pickup truck. Later, Horokhovskyi stated that the man had been found.
