Border guards have been bribed 1125 times since the beginning of martial law

Since the introduction of martial law, Ukrainian border guards have stopped 1,125 bribery attempts totaling more than UAH 12.6 million, with most of the attempts made by Ukrainian men trying to travel abroad illegally.

Ukrainian border guards have been bribed 1125 times since the introduction of martial law in the country. In total, they offered more than 12.6 million hryvnias. Mostly Ukrainian men tried to bribe border guards to travel abroad. This was reported on Wednesday, July 3, by the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports

Since the introduction of martial law, border guards have stopped 1125 attempts to provide illegal benefits totaling more than UAH 12.6 million. 28 of them - worth over UAH 336 thousand - were stopped in June this year

Border guards indicated that most of the bribery attempts were made by men, citizens of Ukraine, who were trying to travel abroad.
