The ATESH partisan movement reported a large-scale drone attack on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine on the night of May 28. This was reported on the movement's Telegram channel, according to UNN.

According to agents and eyewitnesses, explosions and the operation of Russian air defense were recorded in Luhansk, Donetsk, Mariupol, Melitopol, and Alchevsk. ATESH stated that "another hit on an oil depot" could have occurred in Luhansk, where Russian air defense was active.
The partisans also reported a "swarm of Ukrainian UAVs" over Melitopol heading towards Berdyansk. Around midnight, a powerful explosion was heard in Mariupol, after which the occupiers began jamming communications in the city.
