In the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, smoke was recorded in the area of the Sverdlov explosives plant following a drone attack. This was reported by OSINT analysts from ASTRA, according to UNN.
Details
On the night of April 30, local residents reported explosions and the sounding of sirens in the city. Subsequently, videos showing smoke appeared online, which were analyzed by experts.
According to their data, the footage was filmed approximately 2.5 km from the enterprise's territory – from the direction of the Komsomolsky microdistrict. The smoke is rising specifically from the direction of the plant; however, it is currently impossible to determine exactly what caught fire.

The Yakov Sverdlov Plant is one of Russia's key defense-chemical enterprises and is part of the military-industrial complex. It is one of the largest producers of explosives in the country and holds strategic importance.
The enterprise is under sanctions from Ukraine, the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Switzerland.
