A transformer substation in Lviv near Levandivka burned down after being struck by lightning during a severe thunderstorm, causing a power outage in the surrounding area.
In Lviv, near Levandivka, lightning struck a substation. As a result, the substation burned down. This was reported by the deputy of the city council Igor Zinkevich, reports UNN.

The area was experiencing power outages and a loud humming sound. Currently, there are problems with electricity in the areas of Levandivka, Bilohorshchya and Ryasne.
Lviv was hit by a thunderstorm on Sunday, July 14. A storm warning was issued in the city. The mayor's office urges citizens to be careful during the storm.
The Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology reported that a thunderstorm is also expected in Lviv tomorrow, July 15.
