The city authorities called on all participants of public events, as well as citizens who may have different views regarding their holding, to comply with legal requirements, respect the rights and freedoms of other people, and refrain from any manifestations of aggression or provocations. After all, respect for human rights is inextricably linked to the principles of accessibility, equal access, and non-discrimination. Kyiv is consistently working to ensure that urban space, services, information, and opportunities for participation in public life are accessible to all people regardless of age, health status, gender, social status, or other characteristics.

This weekend, several public events on various topics are planned in the capital, including the "KyivPride" March and the informational and educational event "March in Defense of Family, Children, and Ukraine," the holding of which the organizers also notified the city authorities in advance

- the statement reads.

The Kyiv City State Administration is convinced that the very ability of people with different views to peacefully exercise their rights, respecting each other's rights and freedoms, is evidence of the democratic maturity of society and the values for which Ukraine is fighting today. The fact that various public events can take place simultaneously in Kyiv, and their participants feel safe, is an important manifestation of this freedom and mutual respect.

The city authorities also reminded of the need to strictly follow the instructions of law enforcement officers and event organizers, as well as to respond to air raid signals. In the event of an air raid alert, participants must immediately proceed to the nearest shelters.
