A "long curfew" will be in effect in a number of populated areas in Donetsk region from August 12: what you need to know

In Donetsk region, new curfew schedules are being introduced depending on the distance to the front. In settlements closer than 10 kilometers to the front, it will last from 17:00 to 09:00, further than 10 kilometers - from 21:00 to 05:00.
Starting August 12, new curfew rules will be introduced in Donetsk Oblast. The corresponding order was signed today to implement the directive of the Commander of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk RMA Vadim Filashkin, UNN reports.
Depending on the distance to the front, there will be two curfew schedules in the territories:
- in settlements located more than 10 kilometers from the front line - from 21:00 to 05:00;
- in settlements located less than 10 kilometers from the front line - from 17:00 to 09:00.
"A long curfew has been established, in particular, in the cities of Vuhledar, Hirnyk, Krasnohorivka, Myrnohrad, Novohrodivka, Selydove, Ukrainsk, Siversk, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk," Filashkin reported.
In addition, the head of the ARMA urged everyone who still remains in Donetsk region to observe the curfew and avoid mass gatherings.
"But the best way out is to evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine!" - he summarized.
