Two accidents involving passenger buses occurred in Odesa region. In the first accident, a 9-year-old girl was injured, and in the second, the engine compartment of a bus with 39 passengers caught fire, with no casualties.
In Odesa region, two accidents involving passenger buses occurred almost at the same time, one of the buses with 28 passengers collided with a truck on the Odesa-Reni highway, a 9-year-old girl was hospitalized, the regional police reported, UNN reports.

Both accidents occurred today, July 30, at about 12 o'clock.
The first accident occurred on the Odesa-Reni highway within the village of Velykyi Dalnyk.
"Preliminary, the police found that the 34-year-old driver of an interregional bus, moving in the direction of Odesa, did not make sure that the maneuver was safe and, while overtaking the vehicle, collided with a truck driven by a 39-year-old man who was moving in the same direction and turning left. There were 28 passengers on the bus, of whom a 9-year-old girl was hospitalized with a closed head injury, concussion and bruised nose," the police said.
As indicated, both drivers were tested for intoxication - they were sober.
The second accident occurred on the Odesa-Yuzhne highway near the village of Kryzhanivka.
"Preliminary, the police found that an engine compartment caught fire while an interregional bus driven by a 54-year-old driver was moving. There were 39 passengers in the cabin, 5 of whom were minors. No one was hospitalized," the police said.
Police and rescuers are working at the scenes of road accidents.
After all the circumstances of the events are established, they will be legally qualified.
