According to the police, the accident was reported to the special line 102 on July 14 at about 8 o'clock.

The accident occurred on a road near the village of Rakovets in the Zolotnyky community of Ternopil district. According to preliminary reports, the bus driver lost control and drove into a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn. The bus was carrying 41 people who were traveling to the All-Ukrainian pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia. Two passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries.
