A bus crash on the outskirts of Mexico City on Sunday killed 18 people and injured 32 others, according to the Mexico State Civil Defense Agency, UNN reports citing Reuters.

The accident occurred in Malinalco in the southern region of Mexico City, which surrounds the capital on three sides, when a bus traveling from San Luis de la Paz in Guanajuato state in central Mexico to the Chalma Reserve south of Mexico City overturned on the highway.
According to the Mexico City state security minister, fourteen people died instantly, and four more died later in the hospital.
Local media distributed photos of people distributing water and blankets to relatives of the victims. The prosecutors' offices in Mexico City and Guanajuato stated that they were providing assistance to the families of the victims.
