On July 28, 272 combat engagements took place at the front; the enemy carried out 87 airstrikes and used 9,383 kamikaze drones. The defense forces struck four areas of concentration of Russian invaders' personnel.
During the past day, July 28, 272 combat engagements took place on the front line. The enemy carried out 87 airstrikes, dropping 298 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy also used 9,383 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,073 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 58 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four areas of concentration of Russian invaders' manpower.
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, one combat engagement with the enemy took place over the past day; the aggressor carried out three airstrikes, dropping five aerial bombs, and conducted 66 shellings of Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 20 times towards the settlements of Chaikivka, Kozacha Lopan, Izbystske, Anyshchyne, Ambarnе, Zapadne, Khatnie, Kolodiaznе, and in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman.
In the Kupiansk direction, three enemy attacks took place towards the settlements of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Shyikivka, and in the area of Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to break into our defense 13 times, attacking towards Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, Stavky, and in the areas of Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, and Hrekivka.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy stormed 19 times in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Pyskunivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out four attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pryvillia, Nykyforivka, and towards Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 31 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and towards Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 37 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, Chernihivka, Novooleksandrivka, and towards the settlements of Toretske, Novopavlivka, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Svitle, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Matiasheve, Novyi Donbas, Novohryshyne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out one attack in the area of the settlement of Voskresenka.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers carried out 20 attacks towards the settlements of Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Novoselivka, and in the area of Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped four attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Stepove, Shcherbaky, Plavni, and towards Pavlivka.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions over the past day.
The losses of Russian occupiers over the past day amounted to 1,310 personnel. Also, one tank, six armored combat vehicles, 60 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, nine ground robotic complexes, 1,468 unmanned aerial vehicles, 331 units of automotive equipment, and two units of special equipment of the enemy were neutralized.
