128 million UAH - for the development of the railway: the government approved the procedure for using funds within the framework of cooperation with the EU

The Government of Ukraine has approved the procedure for using UAH 128 million for the development of railway infrastructure within the framework of cooperation with the European Union. The funds will be used to implement projects with the support of EU funds.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the procedure for using UAH 128 million of budget funds for co-financing projects in the field of railway infrastructure.

The government has approved the procedure for using UAH 128 million for the development of railway infrastructure in cooperation with the EU
In particular, it concerns UAH 128 million, provided for in the state budget, which will be used, in particular, for the implementation of projects with the support of the structural funds of the European Union.
According to the information, the approved procedure also provides for a simplified approach to determining recipients of budget funds under this program.
This will allow for a faster launch of projects and more efficient use of international assistance for the development of Ukraine's railway infrastructure

Earlier, UNN wrote that by the end of 2025, Ukraine will have the first scanning systems for inspecting railway cars on the border with Poland. Coordination is also underway with international partners to supply stationary scanning systems for inspecting railway cars at border checkpoints with Slovakia and Romania.
