120 battles took place at the front in 24 hours - where the enemy attacked most actively

As of the morning of April 12, the military recorded 2299 cases of ceasefire violations by the enemy, as well as 120 battles on the front line. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On Saturday, April 11, after 4:00 PM and until the end of the day, there were 1723 cases of ceasefire violations. Of these, 25 enemy assault actions, 365 enemy shellings, 566 kamikaze drone strikes of the "Lancet" and "Molniya" types, and 767 FPV drone strikes.

The General Staff noted that there were no missile strikes, guided aerial bombs, or Shahed-type UAVs during this period.

As of 07:00 on April 12, the number of ceasefire violations increased to 2299. According to updated data, the enemy carried out 28 assault actions, 479 shellings, 747 kamikaze drone strikes, and 1045 FPV drone strikes. No missile strikes, guided aerial bombs, or "Shaheds" were recorded either.

At the same time, according to updated information, over the past day, the enemy launched 58 air strikes, dropping 184 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, Russian troops used 8458 kamikaze drones and carried out 2947 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian military personnel, including 123 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The areas under air strikes included, in particular, the Pidhavrylivka district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Kopani, Charivne, Rivne, Obsche, and Omelnyk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The enemy also shelled Kherson.

In response, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit four areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, as well as two command posts.

Frontline situation on April 12: where is it hottest now?

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders five times, carrying out 46 shellings, six of which were with the use of MLRS.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the occupiers tried to break through the defense five times in the areas of Starytsia, Veterynarne, Prylipky, and Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked four times towards Petropavlivka and Novoosinove.

In the Lyman direction, nine attempts were recorded to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Zarichne and in the directions of Shyikivka, Drobycheve, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts of enemy advance in the area of Platonivka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.

No combat clashes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 21 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian military stopped 22 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Rodynske, Dorozhne, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Novohryhorivka, Ternove, and towards Pryvillia.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were seven attacks in the areas of Solodke, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Myrny, and in the directions of Charivne and Huliaipilske.

There were no combat clashes in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful offensive actions towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

No signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

What is known about Russian losses

According to the General Staff, the total losses of Russian troops over the past day amounted to 1070 people. The Defense Forces also neutralized eight tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 73 artillery systems, one MLRS, one air defense system, 2081 drones, and 216 units of automotive equipment.
