Russian troops are intensively attacking Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, trying to capture the town despite significant losses, but Ukrainian troops are in control and have prevented the enemy from reaching the town.

The situation on the contact line escalated after the US decision to provide military assistance to Ukraine: the enemy army significantly intensified its activities in the Kupyansk sector and launched numerous attacks that were repelled by Ukrainian forces.

Over the last day, 94 combat engagements took place in various sectors of the frontline, during which the enemy launched 12 missile attacks, 76 air strikes and 83 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian positions and localities.

The Russians are trying to capture Chasovyi Yar by flanking it through the settlements of Bohdanivka and Ivanivske, but over the past 7 days, despite round-the-clock fighting, they have not managed to surround Chasovyi Yar.

Over the last day, 114 combat engagements took place in various sectors of the frontline, during which the enemy launched 4 missile attacks, 75 air strikes and 66 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian positions and localities.

On Thursday, Ukrainian defenders withstood 93 attacks by Russian occupants in various parts of the frontline, including 23 attacks in the Avdiivka sector alone, amid intense fighting.

The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense but controlled by the Defense Forces, with the hottest areas being Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivske, where russians are storming Ukrainian positions.

Russian troops unsuccessfully tried to storm Ukrainian defensive positions from the flanks around Chasovyi Yar in Donetsk region.

The situation on the eastern front is escalating, but is controlled by the defense forces, and there is no enemy in Chasovyi Yar, despite pressure in the Bakhmut direction.
