Three traitors who shot at Ukrainian soldiers are sentenced to 15 years in prison

Three traitors, including two snipers and the commander of an assault group of the occupation groups of the southern military district of the Russian Federation, were sentenced to 15 years in prison for shelling Ukrainian soldiers.

The convicts are two snipers and the commander of the assault group of the occupation groups of the Southern Military District of Russia.
One of them- is a resident of the temporarily occupied Donetsk who voluntarily "mobilized" into the Russian army on the first day of the full-scale invasion. There, he participated in attempts to seize Azovstal, and later was redeployed to Luhansk region to participate in the fighting near the village of Vrubivka.
In June 2022, he was appointed as a sniper to fire on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Pisky and Krasnohorivka.
The other attacker was another enemy sniper who was targeting Ukrainian defenders of Sievierodonetsk.
According to the investigation, the traitor is a resident of temporarily occupied Sukhodolsk in Luhansk region. Three days before Russia's full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the occupiers.
Another convict was initially a medic of the "evacuation" unit of the invaders' medical platoon, but later took courses in combat tactics in urban areas.
After that, the traitor was appointed commander of an assault unit and transferred to the village of Bilohorivka in the Kramatorsk direction.
Ukrainian defenders captured enemy collaborators during fierce battles near Bakhmut and Maryinka.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found all three perpetrators guilty under Art. 1, 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The criminal actions of the enemy snipers are additionally charged under Part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration, voluntary participation of a citizen of Ukraine in illegal armed or paramilitary groups).
