President Zelenskyy stated that Russia's large-scale night attack, the main blow of which fell on Lutsk, is proof of the need for painful sanctions, including against Russian oil. 741 aerial targets were recorded during the day, most of which were shot down.

The large-scale night attack by the Russian Federation, the main blow of which was on Lutsk, is indicative, precisely now, against the background of attempts to achieve peace, to cease fire, and only Russia rejects everything - another proof that sanctions are needed, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, writes UNN.

"A new large-scale Russian attack against our cities. There were the most aerial targets in a day – 741 targets: 728 drones of various types, of which more than 300 are "Shaheds", and 13 missiles – "Kinzhal" and "Iskander". Most of the targets were shot down. Our interceptor drones were used - there are dozens of downed ones, we are scaling up the technology. Mobile fire groups also worked - we also have dozens of downed ones. I thank all the soldiers for their accuracy," Zelenskyy wrote on social networks.
Now, according to him, the consequences of the night Russian attack are being eliminated in many regions of Ukraine. "The main blow was on Lutsk. Damage was also recorded in Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions," Zelenskyy said.
This is a telling attack, and precisely now, when there have been so many attempts to achieve peace, to cease fire, and only Russia rejects everything. Another proof that sanctions are needed - painful sanctions against oil, which for more than three years of war has been pumping money into Moscow's war machine. Everyone who wants peace must act
