The President instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare diplomatic measures to influence Belarus. Intelligence received non-public tasks due to the threat of the war expanding.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare additional measures of diplomatic pressure regarding Belarus; furthermore, there are corresponding non-public tasks for the Ukrainian intelligence services, UNN reports.
We are also reviewing the possibilities of our external activity. I have instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to prepare additional measures of diplomatic pressure regarding Belarus, which may be used by Russia for such an expansion of the war. There are also corresponding non-public tasks for the Ukrainian intelligence services
As a reminder
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously reported that Russia wants to launch additional aggressive operations specifically from the territory of Belarus – or against our Chernihiv-Kyiv direction. The Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine have been instructed to prepare a response plan; we will be strengthening the Chernihiv-Kyiv direction.
