Zelenskyy has determined who will lead the General Staff and what will happen with Syrskyi

President Zelenskyy announced the appointment of Major General Ihor Skybyuk as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The further service of Oleksandr Syrskyi and Andrii Hnatov has also been determined.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after yesterday's announcement of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported the appointment of Ihor Skybyuk as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and that today everything will be formalized – the relevant decrees are being prepared, and also that it has been determined how Oleksandr Syrskyi and Andrii Hnatov will continue to serve the defense of our state, reports UNN.
We determined the order of further steps. Today, decisions regarding the replacement of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be formalized – the relevant decrees are being prepared. Together with Mykhailo Drapatyi and Yevhenii Khmara, we determined that the new Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be Major General Ihor Skybyuk – a very experienced military officer, with whom the new Commander-in-Chief side by side defended Ukraine
The President emphasized: "It is important that all components of our army continue to function absolutely cohesively. In the same way, we jointly determined how Oleksandr Syrskyi and Andrii Hnatov will continue to serve the defense of our state."
"We discussed what organizational decisions need to be implemented. In particular, this concerns the development of Ukrainian cyber forces, the training of soldiers, and strengthening the capabilities of our units, the development of the corps system. It was noted that the priority for the real ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out defense tasks is a practical, effective mobilization process. I thanked the Defense Forces of Ukraine for implementing the plan of long-range sanctions against russia, as well as for the rhythm in executing mid-strikes. Yevhenii Khmara is engaged in resolving those issues regarding supplies for deep strikes and mid-strikes that were discussed these days with combat commanders and weapons manufacturers," - Zelenskyy stated.
According to him, "we analyzed the current situation and the execution of our defense tasks in the Oleksandrivsk direction, in Donetsk region, and other areas of intense hostilities." "I thank all Ukrainian units for their strength and full implementation of the relevant operations," - he noted.
We determined steps, decisions, and appointments of officials that should accelerate the implementation of key initiatives in the field of air defense – our anti-ballistic program "Freya", work with the United States regarding licenses for the production of "Patriots", as well as cooperation with our European partners on certain joint programs
