Zelenskyy reported that he held a conversation with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Chisinau airport on his way to the G7 summit.
I am grateful to His All-Holiness for his support and absolutely clear moral position: Russian drone strikes on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra – a shrine not only for Ukraine but for Orthodoxy as a whole – are an act of barbarism for which there is no justification. I also discussed with Patriarch Bartholomew possible formats for personal meetings
The President added that he invited His All-Holiness to Ukraine.
