President Zelenskyy reported successful strikes by the Defense Forces on Russian targets. Among the targets were an enterprise in Kirov, an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a warehouse in Rostov-on-Don.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the targeting of facilities in various regions of Russia that contribute to the war effort - in Kirov, Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, and Rostov-on-Don, as well as in the Caspian Sea area, reports UNN.
Ukraine continues to apply long-range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, warriors of our Defense Forces struck targets in various regions of Russia that are working for this war. This is again an enterprise in Kirov, which supplies components for the means by which Russia delivers its strikes against our people. The distance from the state border of Ukraine is about 1,200 kilometers. Also, an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, a fuel and lubricants warehouse in Rostov-on-Don. We also have very good results from long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea area. In particular, these are vessels that were involved in transporting military cargo from Iran, and a warship. This is already the second strike on Kirov within a day. On July 24, the first missile strike on the "Avitek" enterprise in Kirov was carried out by the Ukrainian cruise missile FP-5 "Flamingo" from Fire Point. The company's chief designer confirmed the strike, posting a video of the "Flamingo" launch from the territory of Ukraine on his X account.
Fire Point is a Ukrainian defense technology company. It is one of the main developers of long-range weapons for the Defense Forces: the company produces strike UAVs FP-1 and FP-2, as well as the ground-based FP-5 "Flamingo" missile, with a flight range of up to 3,000 km and a warhead of up to 1,150 kg. Currently, Fire Point is developing the FP-7 ballistic missile and the FP-7x interceptor missile, which will be used to create the pan-European ballistic shield FREYJA.
