Details
As always, a good meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. We discussed the things we agreed to implement with partners during the G7 summit. Most importantly – working on strengthening our defense and obtaining licenses from the US for the production of air defense systems
According to the President, special attention during the negotiations was paid to the PURL program and its further replenishment with new contributions from partners.
We talked about filling PURL with new contributions. This program is very helpful in protecting lives, and it is important that the supply of anti-ballistic missiles be as prompt as possible
The parties also discussed the upcoming NATO summit, to which Ukraine has received an invitation.
I thanked him for the invitation to the NATO summit, which will take place in Ankara. We will work to make it productive for the defense of Ukraine. Thank you, Mark, for the support!
