Zelensky on the enemy strike on Sumy: two people were killed, there may be another one under the rubble

As a result of the shelling of Sumy with MLRS, two people were killed, a house and a kindergarten were damaged. During the day, the Russian federation attacked Ukraine with almost 200 drones, most of which were neutralized.
The invaders fired at Sumy, previously, from a multiple launch rocket system. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, and another person may be under the rubble. A house and kindergarten were damaged in the city. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an evening address, reports UNN.
"Now in Sumy, a rescue operation is still underway at the site of the shelling of a service station. Two people, unfortunately, were killed. There's probably another person under the rubble. The house and kindergarten nearby were also damaged by this impact. Previously, it was an attack from a multiple launch rocket system. And it is possible to protect yourself from this only by destroying Russian weapons, Russian launchers on Russian territory. That is why the ability to launch strikes on Russian territory is so important for us. This is the only thing that today can limit Russian terror and, in general, the Russian ability to fight. I am grateful to all partners who understand this and explain it to other partners," Zelensky said.
He noted that today Ukraine was attacked by almost 200 attack drones, most of which were shot down or neutralized thanks to electronic warfare.
"There was no significant increase in pressure on Ukraine because of such terror. And it is important that we manage to protect our people and our infrastructure from most of these threats. But, unfortunately, not 100%. In the Ternopil region, the elimination of the consequences of the strike is still ongoing. Almost 200 Russian drones against Ukraine per day is almost 200 Proofs that Russian desires are extremely far from any ideas about real peace," Zelensky added.

On November 26, Russian troops carried out an air strike on the city of Sumy. As a result of the attack, residential buildings, private cars and civilian infrastructure were damaged.
