Your pain is the pain of the entire nation: Syrskyi addresses mothers of fallen male and female defenders
Kyiv • UNN
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanked mothers for their resilience and honored the memory of fallen heroes. He urged defenders to be sure to call their mothers.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, thanked Ukrainian mothers for the "invisible strength that holds our people together in the most difficult times," and also called on the military to call their mothers and congratulate them, UNN reports.
Dear Ukrainian mothers! I thank each of you for your patience, support, and that invisible strength that holds our people together in the most difficult times. In every defender, there is a mother's wisdom, support, fortitude, and self-sacrifice. It is your words, your hugs, and your faith that help our warriors endure and fight for the future of Ukraine
The Commander-in-Chief added that he bows low to the mothers whose sons and daughters gave the most precious thing for Ukraine — their lives.
Your pain is the pain of the entire nation, and your resilience is an example of indomitability for each of us
Syrskyi also called on the Ukrainian military to find the time and opportunity to "call mom, congratulate her, and thank her."
I wish Ukrainian mothers strong health, peace of mind, family warmth, and faith in the victory of Ukraine. May your hearts always be warmed by love, and may your children return home alive and unharmed
