The President said that the decision to appeal to the ICC would be made after the DPRK army's military use of force against Ukraine. Zelenskyy also counts on South Korea's support in this matter.
Commenting on whether Ukraine will ask the ICC for an arrest warrant for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a decision will be made after the North Korean army uses military force. He said this in an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS, UNN reports.
Zelenskyy commented on whether Ukraine is considering filing North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un with the International Criminal Court, as it did with Russian dictator Putin for war crimes.
"We will make a decision after the combat use of the North Korean army against the citizens of Ukraine. But, if South Korea supports our respective paths, then I think that together with our allies we will be ready to take appropriate steps," Zelensky said.
