The White House refused to comment on the arrival of the first F-16s to Ukraine. John Kirby confirmed that the process of transferring the fighters is progressing and they will be ready to fly by the end of the summer.
The White House refused to comment on the information that, according to media reports, the first F-16s from partners have already arrived in Ukraine. At the same time, the White House emphasized that by the end of the summer, the F-16s will be ready for flights in Ukraine. This was stated by the White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby during a briefing at the White House on July 31, UNN reports .

“You need to talk to Ukrainians. I will not talk about military capabilities. I will only add that, as we said earlier and as we said at the NATO summit, the process of transferring F16s to Ukraine continues to move forward. We have noted that the aircraft will be ready to fly by the end of the summer. There is no reason to doubt that,” John Kirby emphasized.
