Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna called on UNESCO to more clearly identify Russia as the culprit behind the destruction of Ukrainian cultural heritage, UNN reports with reference to "Novyny. LIVE".

According to her, UNESCO representatives have already visited the damaged site and recorded the losses incurred. At the same time, the organization's statements use phrasing such as "damaged" or "destroyed" without mentioning who exactly carried out the attack.

We all know that Russia did this. Therefore, we truly wish for UNESCO, as an international organization, to learn more to call things by their proper names 

- said Berezhna.

At the same time, the Minister emphasized that Ukraine feels the support of UNESCO, particularly in the restoration of damaged monuments in Kharkiv and Odesa.
