US troops seize Iranian vessel after blockade attempt

The destroyer USS Spruance stopped the sanctioned vessel TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman. US Marines took control of the ship for inspection of its contents.

United States forces attacked and seized an Iranian-flagged vessel when it attempted to "break through" a blockade in the Gulf of Oman. This was reported on the Truth Social social network by US President Donald Trump, according to UNN.
Details
According to him, the cargo ship TOUSKA, "almost 900 feet long" (approximately 274 meters - ed.) and weighing "almost as much as an aircraft carrier, tried to pass our naval blockade, and it ended badly."
The US Navy missile destroyer USS Spruance intercepted TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman and warned them to stop in advance. The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them immediately by punching a hole in the engine room. The vessel is currently in the custody of the US Marine Corps.
He added that TOUSKA is under sanctions from the US Treasury Department "due to a previous history of illegal activity." Americans are currently "fully" in control of the vessel and are examining its contents.
Subsequently, the US Central Command showed a video showing the American destroyer firing shots at the Iranian vessel.
Recall
On Sunday, shipping in the Strait of Hormuz effectively ceased after Iran opened fire on vessels and announced its intention to block transit.
