Former US Vice President Mike Pence has warned that if Putin takes over Ukraine, American soldiers will have to fight Russian invaders in Europe.

American soldiers will have no choice but to fight Russian invaders in Europe, if the Kremlin achieves the goals of seizing Ukraine. This was stated by Mike Pence, former US vice president under Donald Trump - the official called on Congress to approve the allocation of funds to help Ukraine, reports UNN with reference to Politico and CNN.

If Russian President Vladimir Putin "invades" Ukraine, he will attack the NATO country, forcing the U.S. to intervene more directly in the situation.

Having had the experience of meeting Vladimir Putin, I have no doubt - if Putin is allowed to take over Ukraine, it won't be long before he crosses the border into a NATO country

- Pence told CNN.

U.S. soldiers will have no choice but to fight Russian invaders in Europe if Vladimir Putin defeats Ukraine, Mike Pence said.

Pence's comments came amid battles in the House of Representatives over the fate of a foreign aid package providing funding for Ukraine.

On Wednesday, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson outlined his foreign aid plan. The four-part proposal divides aid to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan into separate bills, and some of that aid would come in the form of a loan.

Pence praised Johnson for continuing to work on foreign aid bills, despite threats by right-wing members of the party to remove him as Speaker.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that aid from the USA, which has been blocked in Congress so far, will arrive before November. He said this on the sidelines of a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
